This year the Science Dept. offers three different areas of study. Our sixth graders will study Earth Science, seventh graders, Life Science and eighth graders will study Physical Science. All three grade levels are working through the curriculum under the Science Fair projects are required of all 7th and 8th graders. Projects will be an ongoing assignment which will spill into 2nd semester. Final projects are due in January for our school fair. Winners will move on to the county level in February.
All science students will be assessed on GPS/CRCT benchmark items periodically.
Teachers will be working rigorously with students to accomplish these standards.
